	Joe ( Warminster, Pa., USA ) - September 13, 2006 at 03:41:29 Like other NYC hotels the place is expensive. The location is the main reason we stay there. Two years ago they were working on the lobby escalator and we waited 25 minutes just to access the elevator to our room. When I tried to adress this with the management I recieved no response at all, even after several attemps. They don't seem to be concerned about customer service. The rooms were nice and the lobby area is beautiful around Christmas. The Times Square location is the only reason we stay there. I have stayed at hotels for $79.00 a night and got more for my money! Joe Charlie Cantelli ( NC, USA ) - August 12, 2003 at 08:25:04 Great location. Rooms were very quiet. Overall the Crowne Plaza Times Square was good but, not up to the level of other Crowne Plaza's. Check in was a huge hassle. This hotel is used by flight crews from major international airlines and their check-in / check-out times are NOT standard. Check-in time for everyone else is 3 pm. One of my 2 rooms was not available until 8:15 pm. The front desk gave me keys to a room that still had flight crew in it. A major security breach in my opinion. Room furniture was ragged (we had 2 rooms on the 22nd floor). They are beginning a room renovation project starting at the very top floors. No daily newspaper (even for Priority Club members). No enjoyable lobby area like some of the other big city hotels have. Only 1 bar (but, they had really good drinks).
