"...This hotel is as close to luxury as you will find for a Disneyland Good Neighbour hotel..."
Overall Experience: 4/5
From the moment we walked into the hotel, it was clear that this is one of the more premium, off property hotels. The staff extremely friendly, helpful and were able to check us in quickly so we could get up to our suite start our Disney Vacation. This hotel is as close to luxury as you will find for a Disneyland Good Neighbour hotel. The overall cleanliness of the entire resort speaks to the professionalism of the staff and the high standards held by this hotel. We always felt at home and welcome no matter where we were.
This hotel is a 15 minute walk to Disneyland. Even though it’s not one of the closest hotels to the park, it has a great location near the convention centre, with many restaurants nearby, including a Starbucks within a Block of the hotel. The CVS is steps from the entrance of the hotel and has almost everything you’ll need to stock up your room.
Room: 4.38/5
We stayed in a One Bedroom king suite and we LOVED it. The room has a great feel the moment you walk in the door. Unlike most Disneyland area hotels, this was nicer and more impressive in real life than it was in the photos. The kitchen was well equipped, the living area was spacious, the bedroom was comfortable and the ensuite bathroom had everything you needed, including one of the best showers we have come across. This is one of our favourite suites so it got a rating of 4.38.
One stand out feature was the flat screen TVs (there is one in the living area and one in the bedroom) allow you to log in to some of your favourite streaming platformsmlike Netflix and Youtube.
Here's a list of the in-room amenities

Hotel Amenities: 4.5/5
The hotel amenities are many. No matter what they offered, it was always to a level that exceeded our expectations. They serve one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve encountered in the Disneyland area. For an in depth look at their offering, check out our full breakfast buffet review video.
Heading upstairs to the 6th floor, they have a large fitness centre with everything you need. The gym was cool, clean, well ventilated and had a good variety of machines and fitness equipment.
The rooftop pool & lounge area is amazing. They’ve made this space perfect for families, couples and even larger groups. They have a decent sized pool, a super fun kid’s water park, and a large hot tub. They also have two large fire tables with outdoor couches, lounge chairs surrounding the pool, shaded cabanas and many tables and chairs so you can set up shop when you’re not at the park. This really is one of the best good neighbour hotel pool spaces we’ve experienced.
Other amenities include a laundry facility, bbqs, ice makers with a filtered water dispenser, a lobby bar and a little snack shop next to the front desk. They also have a pizza hut connected to the lobby. We were told when we checked in that they would deliver to the room, however when we did call in, they informed us they were too busy to deliver so we had to pick it up ourselves.
For amenities we gave them a 4.5, but couldn’t give them a 5 because there was no pool lift for the hot tub and because they wouldn’t deliver the pizza to our room as promised by the hotel.
Value: 4.5/5
Many Hotels across the street from Disneyland are often close to the same price as the Residence Inn. But most of those hotels are motel style buildings from Walt’s era and lack the fabulous benefits that come along with this hotel. The few extra minutes it takes to walk to the park is well worth it for the great rooms, amazing pool area, breakfast buffet and proximity to CVS and other restaurants. This hotel is definitely up there price wise, but in our honest opinion, it was worth every penny.
Overall Rating: 4.34/5
If you're planning a trip with a family or larger group, we recommend the Residence Inn...provided it fits your budget. It is easily one of our favorite hotels in Anaheim. From the breakfast buffet, to the fully stoked and well appointed rooms, to the awesome pool area, trust us, you won’t be disappointed.
